Construction
Program Overview
Construction students learn all aspects of constructing buildings and structure, from site layout to exterior finishing. Students will learn about workplace safety, the tools for the job and how to use them, completing objectives as part of a team, and a variety of skillsets that are applicable to contract and company construction-related projects. These skills will not just successfully train a student for their next step in life but can also be used at home. Work-based learning opportunities and apprenticeships with local Registered Apprenticeship Programs are available to students that qualify.
