Eastland-Fairfield Adult Workforce Development recently celebrated 22 students who successfully completed their programs of choice and have lined themselves up to enter the workforce with new skills.
Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools and its Adult Workforce Development (AWD) division are proud to announce that 22 adult learners have successfully completed their programs of choice and are now ready to enter the workforce in their respective fields, full-time.
On Thursday, May 9, 2024, Eastland-Fairfield held its first of three graduation ceremonies to commemorate 22 students who have completed their program of choice. The ceremony was held at Eastland Career Center and welcomed friends, family, and supporters of the graduates.
Dental Assisting graduates Brianna Sowers and Cloee Walton opened with words of wisdom, encouragement, and praise for their classmates and instructors before special awards and career passports were delivered.

Adult Workforce Development will celebrate two more graduation ceremonies during the summer months. On June 6, Eastland-Fairfield students graduating from an Aspire program will be recognized for their accomplishments in either the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Workplace Safety, Fork and Aerial Lift Certification, or High School Equivalency (GED) programs. On July 11, students who complete the Basic Police Officer Training, HVAC, Plumbing, Facilities Maintenance, and Licensed Practice Nurse programs will be recognized for their accomplishments.
