Throughout the month of June, Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools held a series of graduation ceremonies to celebrate a group of more than 70 adult students that completed an adult training or Aspire program during the 2022-23 school year.
On June 13, students that completed full-time, adult training programs took center stage and were awarded career portfolios and certifications from their respective programs. That evening also marked the first graduating class of the Eastland-Fairfield Facilities Maintenance program. On June 15, students successfully completing an Aspire program were celebrated for a year of dedication and commitment. The following week, Commander Tim Voris introduced the 113th and 114th classes of the Eastland Police Academy from the Basic Police Officer Training (BPOT) program.
With the completion of their respective programs, our graduates are now equipped with the tools and connections to begin the next chapter of their lives, whether that is to continue on with additional training and education or to enter the workforce. Many students were boasting full-time employment before their graduation ceremony began, citing that they had already been hired through the Learn and Earn program, apprenticeships, externships, or connections with EFCTS business partners.
