Program Overview

Students will learn pole climbing, line construction, maintenance, and the operation of specialized tools and equipment. Emphasis is placed on electrical safety, including working in settings that simulate high-voltage systems, team-building and leadership, and adherence to OSHA regulations. Hands-on training in simulated field environments prepares students for real-world challenges, including troubleshooting and problem-solving. This program equips students to maintain and repair the infrastructure that powers communities, providing a strong foundation for a career in the utility and energy sectors.
