Full-Time Program Registration Procedure
Enrollments for all full-time programs are processed through the Adult Workforce Development Center Student Services Office located at 4300 Amalgamated Place in Groveport.
All applicable items must be completed by the deadline communicated by Student Services to secure your seat in class.
Pre-Registration Tasks

Basic Police Officer Training (BPOT)
Speak with the Commander and schedule your Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) by calling 614-836-4541, ext. 1542.
The fitness assessment is required.
Schedule your Academic Skills Assessment
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Schedule your TEAS test by contacting Student Services at 614-836-4541, ext. 1537. The TEAS test costs $75.

Please bring the following items with you to your financial aid appointment:
Third-party documentation for funding eligibility (all sources - including JFS and VA)
College transcripts earned for students using VA benefits as a funding option
Documents requested by the FAA to complete FAFSA verification
Photo identification (government issued id)
$22.00 for BCI background check fee, completed on-site during your appointment
Excludes LPN - $47.25 BCI/FBI background check completed on-site during registration appointment
Excludes BPOT - BCI/FBI background check paid/completed off-site under separate instructions
During your financial aid appointment, be prepared to:
Discuss funding options, including Federal Student Aid, scholarships, self-payment options/requirements, JFS, VA and other funding sources
Pay your BCI background check fee (excludes BPOT and LPN) and complete background
Discuss your registration appointment requirements with Student Services

Please bring the following items to your appointment:
Government issued photo identification (ID)
LPN ONLY - $47.25 for BCI/FBI background check fee (background check completed on-site)
BPOT only - $32.20 for drug screen fee, OPOTC enrollment forms
High school diploma/transcript, HSE or GED diploma/transcript
Vaccination records (required for all medical programs)
During your appointment, you will:
Complete your registration/enrollment forms
Have your EFCTS photo ID badge created
Pay your BCI/FBI background check fee (LPN only) and complete background
Pay your drug screen fee (BPOT only) and receive test instructions
Finalize Federal Student Aid (FSA) requirements or other funding documentation
Schedule your class orientation
After your Registration Appointment
The following must be completed to secure your seat in the program:
Submit all required documentation placed in pending status during registration appointment (e.g. TB results for medical programs must be submitted prior to attending orientation)
Attend scheduled orientation
Make required down payment after orientation, if applicable
NOTE: Payments are accepted by MasterCard/VISA, cash, check and money order payable to EFCTS.
Short-Term Course Registration Procedure
STEP 1
Create a student profile. Click here to begin.
STEP 2
While logged into your student profile, navigate under the “Courses” menu, select your class, then provide payment in full using a Visa or MasterCard.
You may also register in person at the Adult Workforce Development Center and use Visa, MasterCard, cash, check, money order, or provide appropriate third-party documentation.

Admission Requirements
Full-Time Program
All individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older are eligible to enroll in adult education classes. All individuals twenty-one (21) years of age or older are eligible to enroll in the Basic Police Officer Training program.
A student must meet one of the following high school completion classifications to be accepted:
Diploma - A student who has completed High School and has been awarded a High School Diploma, or...
High School Equivalency Diploma - a student who is out of school and attained the High School Equivalence Diploma, or
Current High School Student – with senior status based on earned graduation credits
The following special circumstances may allow for individuals under the age of 18 to enroll in some full-time programs:
Individuals under 18, who are not yet high school graduates, may participate with permission of their parent/guardian, and high school principal, or the Superintendent/CEO.
Individuals under the age of 18 who have obtained a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate should contact the Student Services Office at (614) 836-4541 for more information on the admission age requirement.
Short Term Courses
Applicants seeking enrollment in short-term courses:
must be at least 18 years of age
cannot be enrolled in high school
