High School

Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools provides you with more than state-of-the-art technical training and high school credit. Agreements with Ohio Tech Prep and area colleges provide students who complete career and technical programs the opportunity to continue their education at the college level without having to pay tuition to re-learn skills that were mastered during their high school years. By successfully completing one of our programs, you have the opportunity to earn college credit! The college credits available fall into two categories, Articulation Agreements and Dual Credits. The type you earn depends on your qualifications.

Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements are credits granted by a continuing education institution for use at that institution. All credits listed for each program are available as this type. Articulation Agreements are a great place to start your path to the future by saving you time and money!

Dual Credit

Dual credits enable students to earn college credits while in high school through agreements with Hocking College and Central Ohio Technical College (COTC). Successful students will graduate from high school with a transcript from Hocking and/or COTC. These credits will transfer to any college or university in Ohio and many other colleges and universities across the nation!

These credits are available to students qualifying for the Tech Prep option in the following programs:

Architecture/Construction Management, Computer Support Technology, Financial Services, Health Technologies, Interactive Media, International Business, Marketing & Logistics Management, Multimedia, and Programming & Software Development.
