Free summer camp lets middle school students
test-drive careers
Eastland-Fairfield’s free summer camp makes career exploration and decision-making fun for middle school students.
This year’s camp will be offered from June 10-12 at Eastland Career Center, 4465 South Hamilton Road. Designed for students currently in grades 6-8, the 17 different career sessions offer students the opportunity to gather information and learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Students can explore a variety of careers, thus helping them with decision-making.
Each session consists of a two and a half-hour class each of the three days. Students can take one or two sessions. If students sign up for a morning and afternoon session, they must bring a sack lunch.

More details about the sessions will be distributed to all middle school students, and the registration form will be available on this Web site by mid-March. Registration deadline is May 15.
